Forward House Programs

Forward House is an essential part of our community. There is so much stigmatization in the whole world. We’re so lucky to live in Canada, and we’re so lucky to live in this community and to have this place. I am very grateful. Here I have the freedom to be myself.

Education and Group Programs

We understand the importance of ongoing education and support for individuals living with mental health challenges, those in addiction recovery, and their loved ones. That's why we offer a range of educational and group programs throughout the year. These programs are designed to provide valuable information, foster personal growth, and create a supportive environment where participants can learn and grow together.

Nourishing Meals for Body and Soul

Monday through Saturday we provide delicious and nutritious meals at Forward House.

Our dedicated team prepares six lunches and three dinners each week, ensuring that our members are well-fed with wholesome and affordable options. From comforting soups and sandwiches to hearty beef lasagna, every meal is crafted with care and served with a side of camaraderie.

At Forward House, we believe that sharing a meal around the kitchen table not only nourishes the body but also uplifts the spirit. Come dine with us and experience the joy of good food and great company!

Vocational Skills

Working and volunteering are important ways for our clients to give back to the community, build social skills and live independently. At Forward House, we provide our clients with two unique opportunities to do just that. One of vocational programs is our Lawn Services Crew . You may see our big black truck zip around town with a dedicated, friendly team of client-employees who provide year-round lawn care services through contracts with our community partners.
